Open Positions at Etta Place Cidery & Taproom

Etta Place Cider is Utah’s first orchard-based hard cider producer. We produce award-winning alcohol and offer our guests adult beverages, fine foods and vacation experiences through our tours and tastings. Our team takes pride in sharing our enthusiasm for local food, beverages and Capitol Reef Country history and information with our guests. We are seeking a part-time ciderhand to join us. Duties are divided between retail/taproom and production operations. 

Retail: provide excellent customer service to our guests, including educating customers about our products, production process and orchards; booking tours and tastings; accurate cash register operation, maintaining general cleanliness of public areas, and restocking products. Prepare outgoing shipments. Will verify age for alcohol purchases. 

Taproom: assist with food preparation and occasional service. May lead tours and guided tastings.

Production: may assist in bottling, labeling, cleaning and sanitation. May participate in sensory analysis activities as part of a team during product development and staff training. 

The ideal candidate will enjoy a rapid-paced work environment, multi-tasking, problem-solving and creating memorable moments of hospitality for our guests. Computer literacy is necessary; we train employees to use Ekos brewery software and other programs as needed.

Evening and weekend hours are required. Must be able to lift 60 lbs. Must be 21 and able to pass alcohol safe-serve training.
